Obituary of Dorothy Lillian Vail

VAIL Dorothy Lillian (Nee: Merriday), Surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 8th, 2006, at Niagara Retirement Manor, at 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Stanley. Loving mother of Kim Doros (George) and Larry (Cindy). Devoted grandmother of Aaron, Kristy, Stephanie and Natalie. Dear sister of Claire (Rolly) Card. Dorothy will be loviningly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and neighbors. Dorothy was employed for 28 years with Sears Catalogue Dept.. She volunteered at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, the St. Catharines General Hospital and also with the Girl Guides and Brownies. A Funeral service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Third St. Louth on Tuesday at 11am.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7-9 and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. and at the church 30 minutes prior to service. Interment in St. Mark's Anglican Church Cemetery, Jordan. Memorial remembrances to St. Mark's Anglican Church or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
