Obituary of Ivan (Arthur) Hall

Hall, Arthur Ivan - On June 29th, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. His loss is grieved by his daughters, Nancy Phyllis Hall (Sidney Charles Cook) of Hamilton and Patricia Louise Austin (John Reynolds) of Mannheim. Daughters of Marie L. Hall of St. Catharines. Dear Grandpa of Kristin Elizabeth Tlalka of St. Catharines and Stephany Nicole Tlalka of Halifax. Also, his sister, Doris Fitzgerald of Collinsville, Virginia and niece Scarlett Dodl (Bill) of Richmond, Virginia with daughter Carmen. Special thanks to Frank Endenburg, Nancy Cadot, Frank Tlalka, Selma, Judy and Jan who have been very important friends and have provided generous support to Ivan before and during his difficult trial. We truly appreciate their compassionate generosity. Dad received exceptional care from his nurses Anne and Irene from Paramed and Charleen Ferron at CCAC who managed his care. Thanks also to Glenis at Bayshore and particularly his nurse Sue Dan. Ivan was a long time employee at Thompson Products as well as English Electric. His personal passions include the Niagara Peninsula Amateur Radio: Club Member and Treasurer, Dalhousie Yacht Club: Member, Power Squadron: Teacher and Treasurer, and CMA, Niagara Chapter where he was a past Chairman. Ivan is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm . A celebration of Ivan's life will be held on Tuesday at the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow the service. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children in Ivan's honour.
