Just wanted to express my condolences at the passing of your Dad, Gerry (Dyke). He and my Dad Al Clark(Clarkie) worked together for many years, both at Sunshine and then Avondale Dairy. My Dad passed away in 1975 but my Mom Win just died in 2006 at the ripe old age of 92. I have many fond memories of your Mom & Dad and my parents spending good times together. I was able to rekindle our friendship this past year when my mother-in-law moved to Anchor Pointe. We had some great chuckles remembering old times. I will miss visiting with him. My sister Bonnie and I were talking about him yesterday and wondered why my Dad and, in fact, we referred to him as Dyke. We wondered where he got the nickname. I know how much you will miss him and he is fondly remembered by my sisters and myself.
