My first memory of Zee was at Lake of Bays on a family outing to your cottage. As we arrived an extremely tall brown skinned woman in a two piece bathing suit greeted us. I thought she was pretty "cool" to be my mother's age and wearing such a suit!I think I was about 8-10 years old at the time and I must have made some comment to which Zee gave a hearty laugh and said if you think that is odd look at my toes. The hammer toes. Every time there after with or without shoes I would ask to see her toes!
She certainly was a fun person and I'm sure you will miss her charm and spunk greatly.

We were so saddened to hear of Aunt Zookie's passing. Although her health had been poor in recent times I will always think of Aunt Zookie as a vibrant, dynamic and strong woman. There are very few of these "grande dames" left. Ours and the next generation will be missing the strength and depth of people like Aunt Zookie. Sending our prayers and love from Colorado, Joanne and John Waring

Dear Bob and Macfarlane's,
I will miss the wonderful visits and great fun that we have had with Aunt Zookie. It is hard to imagine St. Catherine's without her.
I really treasure all the memories of family get togethers, Christmas times, summer holidays and just good old visiting that we have shared over the years. I know my life has been made much richer for all the time that we have spent together.
You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.
Tim,Jane,Alex and Elizabeth
