Obituary of David Mark Ridings

RIDINGS DAVID MARK Peacefully, on Saturday October 20th, 2007, at 45 years of age, Mark went into the arms of our Lord and Saviour. Loving and devoted husband and best friend of Sharon. Adored and cherished father of Jordan and Daniel. Mark was the precious son of Jack and Donna Ridings and dear brother to Richard (Kathy). Loving son in law of Jan and Thea Roozendaal and brother in law to Ellen (Paul) and Wendy (Glen). Mark was a fun loving uncle to Davin, Perry, Arden, Becca, Phillip and Allison. Special thanks to the ICU staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for their care and compassion to Mark. He will be remembered by countless friends for his humour, passion for Kenya and commitment to family. We find strength and hope in the amazing truth that he is wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus. The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 23, 7-9 and Wednesday October 24, 2-4 and 7-9 at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A funeral service to celebrate Mark's life will be held in Harbour Fellowship Church, 51 South Service Road, at 11am. on Thursday October 25 followed by a time of fellowship. Inurnment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Harbour Fellowship Church (Aluminum for Africa) would carry on Mark's passion for the ministry he was so devoted to in Kenya.
