Hada, Elizabeth Cecelia
Peacefully at Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital on Monday, September 17, 2007 Elizabeth went to be with the Lord. Born in Budapest, Hungary October 31, 1922. Survived by her loving children Judi (Larry) Dore, Sue (Bob) Luey, grandchildren Patrick, Jennifer, Caitlin, Justin, Todd (Christina), Tim and great grandson Carter, dear sister of Steven Pettes, the late Stephanie Hefler and the late Valerie Balgha, survived by her half sisters Gloria, Marika. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hada was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria and the Catholic Women's League, retired from Linhaven Home for the Aged after 30 years as an R. N. A. in 1986. Elizabeth lived her life by example and by her faith in God.
Mrs. Hada is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Thursday 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. Memorial Donations to Mount Carmel, St. Catharines or the Alzheimer Society.Special thank you to Sisters and staff at Mount Carmel, 78 Yates St., Dr. Philip O'Reilly, Sister Louise Dillon and the staff at Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital.
