To Judi, Susie and families,
We are sorry to hear about the passing of Elizabeth. We knew her for many years through our association at the Cathedral. She was an inspiration to all of Christian love and generosity. My lasting memory of Elizabeth will be of the depth and sincerity of her prayer life. She truly believed in the Lord's response to her prayers (even when looking for a parking spot!).
For years, we had the pleasure of her company at Church on Sundays as our favourite pews were close by. We were also enriched by the faith stories she so openly shared with our Bible study group for many years. If someone needed special prayers, it was always Elizabeth we asked to lead us. She once prayed over me for relief from my headaches, which seemed to help quite a bit. After Bible study, I often had the privilege of driving her home (all of two blocks) and enjoying some nice personal chats.
Although we will miss her, we rest secure in the knowledge that Elizabeth now is at home and in peace with the Lord.
God bless,
Wayne & Beth Shepard

I knew Elizabeth through the C.W.L. She was always attentive and sharing with such feeling. She always offered her opinions wisely and was a great role model to follow. She will be sadly missed by all.

We are very sorry about Elizabeth. One of the things which we often remarked about in the last little while was the obvious love that she felt when she was looking at you or Bob. I am sure that her gentle kindness will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

I am truly sorry to hear of Elizabeth's passing. I had the great pleasure of knowing her through the C.W.L. She was always gracious and a lady that was always a "breath of fresh air." She lived her life with love and shared her deep faith with everyone who came into her presence. I was honoured to find out in recent past years that I had taught one of her grandchildren. I will keep her in my prayers and thoughts.

Elizabeth was such a lovely, lovely lady. We were privileged to have her with us in our Bible Study class at the Cathedral for several years. Her faith and her kindness shone through all she did. She was an inspiration to us all.
