Obituary of Murray Gordon Barry

BARRY, Murray- Passed away on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at the St Catharines General Hospital in his 88th year. Beloved husband of 63 years to Louisa (Lisette). Cherished father of Debbie (Rick) White, Corinne (Mark) Kwacz. Murray is predeceased by his daughter Arlette Woodhouse (2002) and his grandson Brent Kwacz (1994). Special grandfather of Michael White (Brittany), Ryan White (Samantha), Britny Kwacz and Dylan Kwacz. Proud great grandfather of Sydney White. Brother of Bernice Ferguson (Harold- Feb. 14th 2009) and brother in law of Bernice(Robert) Jacobs of Belgium. He will be missed by his niece and nephews. Murray was a proud Veteran who served in W.W. II. An avid traveler, Murray lived life to the fullest. The Toronto Maple Leafs have just lost another great fan! Murray is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the War Amps-Champs Program would be appreciated by the family.
