Obituary of Donna Marie Fleming

FLEMING, Donna (nee Mitchell) - Passed away on Sunday, February 1st, 2009 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie at the age of 69. Loving wife of the late Harold. Cherished mother of Pam (Cameron),Sandra(Alnoor), Ryan ( Amanda). Special grandma of Alex, Jessica, Mya and Zakhir. Special sister of Betty (Jim) Fowler and Pat (Richard) Hannaford. She will be sadly missed by her many family members and friends. Donna had a love and a passion for traveling. She enjoyed cycling, walking and playing bridge with her friends and family. Donna was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul for over 10 years. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff and physicians at the Royal Victoria Hospital for all their care and compassion. Donna is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers will take place on Friday at 3:30p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Alexandria in St. Catharines, on Saturday at 11a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated by the family.
