I remember when I was a kid going to the cottage in Port Dover with Cathy and her family. To this day I remember how nice Mr. Pintwala was, he created such good childhood memories for me. I often go to Port Dover with my family now and I always remember the fun times at the cottage on the lake. I seems like only a couple of years ago that I would go into J & P Poultry on the way home from school. Cathy my condolences are with your and your family at this sad time, it must be a comfort that you were able to have your father with you for such a long time. Cherish those memories I know I have all these years.

Cathy, Deb, Jon and family...I am so sorry for your loss. While it has been many years since I spent time with your family, I still have fond memories of that time and of knowing your Dad. I lost my father as well last year, and it marks a passage in our lives. Peace be with you.

Our heartfelt condolences to all of the family. I only had the opportunity of meeting Ed on a few occasions, mostly in my younger years, but I did know him through my parents and know that he was a wonderful person, hardworking, loving and enjoyed life. He took time to enjoy his family and cottage life.
I know my family admired him greatly.
Our hearts and prayers are with each of you.
Love Jason, Kim, Hannah, Jacob and Jonathan Ranni

Dear Debbie, Cathy, John and families
So sorry to hear of your Dad's death. I remember Mr Pintwala and what a nice man he was and the early days when I spent time with your family. I found it hard when I lost my Dad too. No one ever takes their place. Fortunately though, the memories of our respective fathers are good ones. I'll be with you in spirit in the days to come.
Love Sheila (Miller) Chaffecombe

Dear Cathy, Deborah, Jon, and family,
Although I had only met your dad the one visit I had last year, I have very fond memories of him. During that visit, I felt honored to sit next to him while we all watched his video memoirs. He was a very special person. He will be remembered fondly by all of those who knew him in both his personal and business life. He certainly is proud of all of his children and knows that he instilled great ethics and virtue in each of you. May some comfort come from all the good times you shared. My deepest sympathy to you and all of the family.
Love and peace,
Kathie

Dear Jon, Ed, Justin, Rob and extended family - we are so sorry to hear of the death of your father/grandfather. We were so lucky to know him while he visited your home and cottage and through your eyes. He was an amazing character who left many of his traits in his children and grandchildren. We know what a big presence he was in your lives both physically, emotionally and spiritually. We know there will be many fish caught in his honour in years to come. We hope the memories that you formed with him during his life will comfort you at this time. Love Jim and Renee
