Obituary of Kathryn Margaret Mizen

MIZEN, Kathryn Margaret Passed away peacefully with the love and support from her family on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Hospice Niagara. Beloved sister of Paul (Mary Frances) Mizen, Anne Mizen-Baker (Tom Baker), Susan (Peter) Neale, Mary Mizen (Christopher Booth). Loving aunt of Michael (Amanda) Mizen, Alicia (David) Kapus, Aidan (Leah) Baker, Lucas (Leslie) Baker, Kyle Neale (Margeaux Gagliano), Devin Neale and Eileen Neale. Special great aunt of Regan Mizen and Megan Kapus and Amelia Mizen. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital and Hospice Niagara for their compassionate care and to Fr. Chris Szczepanik for his spiritual support and guidance. Kathryn's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday, November, 26, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating Kathryn's life will be held at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church 169 St. Paul Cres., on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Niagara in memory of Kathryn.
