Dearest Aunt Hazel and Family
You all have been in our thoughts and prayers this past week. We have lost a wonderful person. I have been thinking of his warm smiling eyes all week. My most favourite memory of Uncle Fraser is him playing cards with Grampy at Aunt Shirley's. It was the last time I got to see Grampy play. Imagine the card games going on now!!
I am grateful for the time Robyn got to spend with you all last summer. She has been talking a great deal about her stay in St. Catherines. Please accept our deepest condolences.
With love,
Karen,Steven,Brandon & Robyn

Dear Hazel and family,
Peg and I have been thinking of you during this sad time. I feel very sad to know I will never see Fraser and Archie again but I have many good memories of them both. They were just like brothers to me because I never had one of my own. We grew up together, played together, worked together and partied together for many years. I know this must be a terrible time for you and the kids but please know I love you all very much.
Cousin Bobby, East River St. Mary's Nova Scotia

Hi Hazel and family from Nova Scotia. Just want to let you know, I am there in spirit and send you a "Hug".
It is truly, truly ironic last week while moving some pictures out fell one of Fraser and myself, I was about 5 or 6 and Fraser was down on one knee with his Taxi Cab cap on and he was kissing my cheek. I had this crooked smile on my face.
I go back to your wedding at aunt Myras. He was so like her. I sure loved them both. Your loss is great. You two were so well suited.
Much love, Nita.

We are so sad that we have lost such an important member of our family. Freddie has many wonderful memories of growing up with Fraser such as working with him aboard the ship and living with him, Hazel and Wade when he first left home.
Fraser was like a Father figure to Freddie offering lots of advice, guidance and love.
We both always looked forward to Fraser and Hazel visiting us in Nova Scotia and our trips to see them in Ontario, sharing lots of laughs, conversations and good times around the card table.
Our deepest sympathy, love and prayers go out to you all during this time. We wish we could be with you.
Love Freddie & Sandra.

Dear Hazel and family
We have lost a sweet and gentle man who lived a special life - at the side of a beloved soulmate; as a proud and loving father, a friend and guiding hand to his treasured grandsons, with great-grandchildren present and future to carry on his legacy. He helped to establish and nurture our Carleton family, gave the best of his abilities to any task he undertook, gathering friends who loved him all along the way. And when his health declined he coped, with bravery, dignity and grace, secure in the knowledge that he would find the Home he had been promied with the Saviour he had served. As you look back on your times together, may your smiles dry up your tears. You will meet him again.
God Bless,
xx Judy

Aunt Hazel, Wade, Guy, Sherry and Families. It is with a heavy heart that we heard of your sad news this morning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you
One of my favorite memories is of him driving behind me into the parking lot of a mall in Cape Breton. He stopped the van got out and said that the drivers in Sydney were crazier than the ones in Toronto. He had no idea where they were going or what lane they were using.
We are glad Uncle Fraser and Aunt Hazel had the time to come and visit us when we lived in Cape Breton. It was great playing cards and telling stories.
We will be thinking of you,
Love Timothy,Julie,Rebecca and Benjamin
