Obituary of Jean Hilda Neumann

Jeanne Hilda Neumann ( Kranz)

January 5, 1932 - January 15, 2025

On January 15, 2025, Jeanne Hilda Neumann ( nee Kranz) passed away peacefully at Garden City Manor. She was predeceased by the love of her life; her husband Rudy, and her brother Harold.

She is survived by her youngest brother Fred Kranz, her beloved children Wayne ( Wanda), Kimberly ( Tim), Bryon ( the late Karen) and David  (Heike) 

She had 5 grandchildren that she and Rudy adored and played a huge part in their lives growing up, as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Moms passions were her family, playing the piano, travel and desserts. She was the most selfless person who always put her family and others  first. She supported her children and grandchildren in all of their endeavours and took pride in their successes.

Our family cannot thank the front line staff at Garden City Manor enough. Mom was a resident there for over twelve years. Many staff cared for mom over those years and in the last few weeks showed us once again the  compassion and dedication we were so grateful for.

In keeping with our mothers expressed wishes, there will not be a service or visitation. Mom was  cremated, and in the spring we will have an internment of hers and our fathers ashes, followed by a Celebration of Life for mom.

Donations can be made to the Humane Society, or plant a tree in her honour.
