Obituary of Michael Joseph Featherstone

April 6, 1937 - January 11, 2025

Michael Featherstone passed away suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on January 11, 2025, at the age of 87.

Predeceased by his loving wife Dawn (McKinnon) in 1989.

Michael was much loved by his surviving sister, Ann (Cowper).

As a member of the Bruce Trail Club, Michael was an avid hiker, going on many adventures with his friends, especially Leslie Beaumont who shared his love of walking.

The philosophy of Tai Chi was a major part of Michael's life, which he practiced faithfully for many years. He was a longtime member of the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism.

Michael also loved music and theater. He was always surrounded by music whenever he was at home.

According to Michael's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
