Obituary of Patricia Anne Nicol
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, Patricia Anne Nicol on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Patricia is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bill, sisters Joan, Shirley, brother Ronald and beloved and faithful dog Missy. She will be forever adored and missed by her loving children David, Darlene (Barry), Danny (Christine), Denise (Kevin), Darren (Paula); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and special friends Lee (Tom). Also sadly missed by Step children Bill (Cheryl), Rob (Joanne), Beth (Greg), and their children and grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Joseph, Elizabeth and stepson Carl. Patricia thoroughly enjoyed her church family and had a strong commitment to her roles as a side person and president of Alter Guild at St John’s Church in Port Dalhousie. She was loving, kind, smart, funny, and a very strong woman. Mom loved to travel, she enjoyed playing her organ and the many family gatherings we had. Patricia enjoyed her gardens while drinking her Red Rose tea and watching the birds from her dining room window. She will be remembered for so many things, especially her smile, her laughter, her love of animals, her love of family. In honouring Patricia’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Guests are invited for visitation on Saturday January 11, 2025 from 11am to 1pm followed by funeral service. A private burial will be held at a later date with family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of mom to Scleroderma Society, Help a Child Smile or Humane Society or Therapy Tails.
