My deepest sympathy to the whole family. Donald and I grew up together in beautiful Shiphead, Gaspe. Donald was such a wonderful person. We always stayed in touch when he and Carole lived in Montreal. I have many fond memories of spending time with them. I think about them often.

Uncle Don was a thoughtful and a gracious man.
He was very special to my Mom and Dad, and to all of us.
I remember his big heart, his smile and his laugh.
He will be missed. Heaven is a better place with him in it.

" Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us in our hearts and memories"
Uncle Don was always good to Joan, Kimberly, Brendan and myself over the years and will be missed. I have MANY fond memories of our visits to St Catherines, and all of our times in Oakville and Chateauguay. Don was a sincere, considerate, and a very sensitive human being.
"Thy love and Thy care, they shelter me, shall favor me all the days of my voyaging, and I will rest in the port of my Lord forever. The Lord is my pilot, my ship is well stored."

My dear cousins, Danny, Terry and Kerry, I am so very sorry for your loss. I hold so many wonderful memories of Uncle Don, and Auntie Carole, and all of you through the years of our childhood, and it was a joy to stay connected through them over the years. I treasure my last trip to Gaspe with them and Mom and Dad; we went to Forillon Park and Uncle Don showed us where his home had been as a boy. Lots more good memories to treasure. Much love to you and your families.

Hi Terry, Joan & the family. Uncle Don is at peace & hopefully with Aunty Carol Deeer somewhere fantastic
My memory of Uncle Don. Down in Sarnia, I do believe. It was a knarly night, we were on the Pilot boat, rain was lashing, waves were sloshing all around. Your mom bought your dad the big red coat, he put it on. As me with you boys & your mom watched, your dad went out onto the Pilot boat deck and was climbing up this rope-like ladder, he was wailing back & forth against the ship. You all knew what was coming, I did not, it was scary to me. He climbed onto that ship & we headed away back to shore. It was an adventure for me for sure. Just another day at work for Don. Your mom probably brought us out for ice cream after that. She kept us all amused. Much love Cuz’s
