Obituary of Michele Chalmers

Michele Chalmers (née Baran) (1955 –2024)

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Michele Chalmers, of Brantford, Ontario on November 25, 2024 at the age of 69. Michele passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home. 

She leaves behind her husband Duncan, children Sara and Steven, and son-in-law Adam, and many family and friends who will remember her community-mindedness, loving spirit, and generosity.

A graveside service will be held in her honour at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:30am followed by a reception at Doc Macgilligan’s, 6400 Lindy’s Lane, Niagara Falls ON at 12:30pm. 

As Michele was a longstanding supporter of the Brantford Food Bank, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, any donations be made to your local food bank.
