Obituary of Edna May Shale
SHALE – Edna (nee Taylor), passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13 2024 in her 94th year. Reunited with her beloved husband for 71 ½ years, Albert Shale and will be sadly missed by children Doug, Bruce, Catherine (the late Barry Sr. 2014), Allan and Christine Dubé; loving grandmother to the late Barry Jr. (2016), Jennifer, Darin, Austin and Ashley; great-grandmother to Logan and Alexander Robertson, and Brooke Racey. Edna was predeceased by her son, Paul and her four siblings.
Edna loved being at the cottage up north in Barry’s Bay and spent many years at the condo in Seminole, Florida surrounded by their many friends. Edna and Albert will be enjoying happy hour martinis together once again. She will be forever missed by family and friends. Edna will be remembered forever in our hearts. A special thank you to the staff at Ina Grafton for their care and compassion.
In accordance with Edna’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. Cremation has taken place and the family will be updating with memorial service information at a later date.
