Obituary of Michael Scott Lorenzi

LORENZI, Michael passed peacefully, surrounded by family at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in his 62nd year. He is survived by loving wife Natalie (nee Bihun), devoted children Nicholas and Emma and caring sister Joanne. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Mary and in-laws Nicholas and Pearl. He was much loved by his extended family and friends.

Michael enjoyed a successful working career and was known for his relentless work ethic. He will be remembered for his love and commitment to friends and family, witty sense of humour and skills on the court at ‘Thursday Night Basketball’.  

In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. Cremation has taken place and the family welcome guests for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, November 14th from 6:00 – 9:00pm with prayers beginning at 8:15pm. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday November 15th at Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church at 11:00am. A Private family interment and reception will take place.
