Heartfelt condolences to Ali, Uncle Gerry’s sweetheart ❤️ so very saddened to lose such a gentle giant. Uncle Gerry welcomed everyone with his kind eyes, warm heart & soft words. Always interested in what was happening in our lives and enjoyed telling a great story. I will miss him & his stories as I’m sure all that knew him will. Rest peaceful now Uncle Gerry until we meet again ❤️

Uncle Gerry- it wasn’t just his 97 years that made him so remarkable. It was how he lived them. Full of adventure, kindness and laughter. Such a sweet man , who will be truly missed. Uncle Gerry was one of those ‘gentle giant’ types. A very tall man , he towered over many. But it was his friendly nature, his gentle soul, his soft laughter and caring eyes that I will remember. A lover of flowers, especially roses, my uncle had the most beautiful garden that we all got to share and enjoy while growing up. I will miss him terribly. I’ll look up at the night sky and imagine him there, a star that’ll shine just a little more brightly……love you.❤️

Thinking of Ali and the entire Tesselaar family at this difficult time. Uncle Gerry was a warm, kind and friendly man. He lived a long and full life and touched many people on his journey through the years. I have many fond memories of him particularly when we were next door neighbours on First St. Louth. We shared the same birthday (March 9) and often joked about celebrating together. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
