Obituary of Nicholas Polychronopulos
POLYCHRONOPULOS, Nicholas passed away peacefully with family at his side at the NHS-St. Catharines in his 94th year on Tuesday, October 29 2024. Survived by his loving son, George (Judy) Polihronis, granddaughters, Alexis and Olivia and his sister, Nicky Cloutis. Nick is predeceased by his devoted wife, Maria, adored daughter Gina and siblings, Ted (Freida), Fred (Garifalia) and Dimitroula.
Nick was devout member of the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church for much of his life. His legacy and memory will forever be in the hearts of his family and friends.
In keeping with Nick’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 4 2024 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. The First Thrice Holy Hymn/Trisagio will begin at 7:00pm in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara St., St. Catharines on November 5 2024 at 11:00am. The Final Thrice Holy/Hymn/Trisagio will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and/or St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Nick.
