Peacefully, with his wife and daughters by his side, Frank passed on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Mariposa House Hospice in Orillia at the age of 82. Frank is survived by Wenda, his loving wife of 56 years; his daughters, Caroline Romanek (Dino), Holly (Stephen) Kassay, and grandchildren, Jacob and Carly. He is now reunited with his youngest daughter Susanne (2017) and his best dog, Hudson. Frank was predeceased by his brothers Ed and Bruce and his sister Helen (Beckett). He will truly be missed by his much loved nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was the owner/operator of Romanek’s Shell Station, St. Catharines, Datsun and Little Import Auto Sales, retiring in 2005 when he and Wenda moved to their cottage on Sparrow Lake. Here he enjoyed tending his property, welcoming friends and keeping the birds well fed (darn squirrels).
