Obituary of Jules Gilles Ernest Girard

GIRARD ERNEST JULES 1941-2012 Passed away suddenly due to complications from surgery at the St Catharines General Hospital, on Friday, November 9th, 2012, in his 72nd year. Predeceased by his parents Simone and Antonio Girard, and brother George Girard. Beloved husband of 48 years to Danita Girard (nee: Levesque) and loving father to his three children Nicole (Clint) Robertson, Maurice (Jacqueline) Girard and Michael (Renee) Girard. Poppa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brittany, Jake, Brayden, Kevin, Chantal and Tommy and great granddaughter Taylor. Dear brother of Huguette (Rolly) Houle, Carmen Goudreault and Suzanne (Rolly) Geib. Jules will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jules was employed with TRW for 32 years retiring in 1997. Jules was an avid boater and a member of the Greater Niagara Boat Club. Family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family "Forever in our hearts"
