Obituary of Dorothy Anne Daniel

DANIEL, Dorothy Anne (nee Glen) Passed away peacefully and while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 13th at Pioneer Elder Care in her 80th year. Loving wife of Harry, and beloved mother of Scott and Janet, Glen and Michele, Blair and Meri Elen and Heather and Andrew Mitchell. Much loved Grandma of Michael, Jason, Ryan, Alexa, Ava, Brooke and Jack. Dear sister of the late June and Bill Rispin, and survived by sisters Joyce and George Walker, Heather and Cliff Arnott, Donna and Dan Thornton and Lynn and Peter Lingard. Dorothy Anne was a graduate of Queen's University, Ontario Teachers College and taught in London, Chatham and St. Catharines. She was an accomplished pianist, golfer, curler and bridge player who was loved by all who knew her. Dorothy's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, November 16th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 17th at St. George's Anglican Church, 83 Church Street at 11am. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Pioneer Elder Care would be appreciated by the family.
