Marilyns Birthday
Marilyn would have been 57 years old today . It is especially painful on her birthday to realize that she is no longer with us . Rest in Peace our beloved Marilyn . We would like to thank everyone who left a condolence or a story about Marilyn . Josh and Hugh
Mugs McGinty Roe
My mom had the strangest nickname for me, she always called me Mugs McGinty Roe. I never knew where she got it from or why she called me that, but I'll never forget it. I also remember when mom told me she was pregnant and that I was going to have a little brother. I was surprised more than anything, but in the end very happy. I remember when she was still pregnant with Josh,I was visiting for the summer and her and Hugh were living in a cabin in Kenosee, lake of the woods. Mom would get so hot that she had to get Hugh to fill two 5lt bucket half full of cold lake water so she could soak her feet. That was one of the best summers ever! The pic of all three of us was taken at Mom's Uncle John's and Aunty Lucy's place in Rocanville. I believe Josh was maybe one years old and I was 16.
Our beloved Marilyn sorely missed forever
Marilyn was a fighter because she had to deal with a lot of pain and suffering over the last few years . She had severe body wounds and flesh eating disease which caused great pain and suffering . She was a very brave and generous person . Even though she was in pain she still kept her sense of humour and caring for other people . She loved to tell jokes . She loved animals and used to break horses when she was a young girl in Manitoba . One of her wishes she expressed to us was that her cats be taken care of when she passed . Thank you Bonnie and Dave for looking after Marilyns beloved cats Peaches and Cream . Another wish was that her ashes be laid to rest with her much beloved Grandparents Napoleon and Eva Belhumeur and her mother Jean in Manitoba . It was a crippling and devastating loss to us when she died . We will miss her forever . Our lives now have an unfillable void . Our hearts are broken forever . We will be with you again someday our beloved darling . Your loving husband and son ( Hugh and Joshua )
