I was given the privilege of briefly knowing David during his stay at Valley Park Lodge. He was my favorite to go and see each shift. We held hands many times, and it was comforting for us both. Whenever I see Southern Comfort I'll smile with the memory of the drink he had in his last days. A gentle soul has his wings.
