Obituary of Norman John William Bellows

BELLOWS, Norman - Passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Betty Lou. Cherished father of Deborah Dempsey (Terry) and Dianne Kesteven. Loving grandfather of Christina Kesteven and Cathie Bennett (Scott). Great grandfather of Ava and Skye Bennett.

Norm will be remembered for his kindness, his warm smile, and his good humour. He was a constant source of guidance, and he had the unique ability to ensure that everyone he spent time with came away feeling better. His positive outlook, friendly spirit, and unwavering love for family and friends will be etched in our hearts forever.

Our family would like to thank Dr. James Woodland at the Beamsville Medical Centre for his exceptional care of Norman, and to all others who provided care in the last months of his life. We are also grateful for the love and support that friends have shown him over the years. 

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, August 23 at 11a.m. in theGEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Ontario. Reception to follow. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Silver Spire United Church.
