Obituary of Henry Petrykowski

                                      Henry Petrykowski July 4, 1929 – August 5, 2024

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Petrykowski at the age of 95. Survived by his beloved wife Jean Petrykowski and his children Lori Ashdown (Dave), Teresa Suda (Phil) and nephew Mark Petry (Charlotte). Predeceased by his son Michael Petrykowski (Pam), his brother Michael “Nick” Petry, his wife Janet, niece Roseanna Petry and Grandson Nicholas Ashdown. Loving grandfather to Justin Suda (Michelle), Elizabeth Suda (Joe), Michael Ashdown (Lacey), Jordan Petrykowski (Makayla), Joshua Petrykowski (Dana) and 4 great children and one more on the way. Henry was a very intelligent man and was very well read. He was employed at GM as a cutter grinder for many years and made numerous friends and colleagues there. He loved sports and especially watching his grandchildren play hockey. He had a great fondness for animals especially his “grand puppy” Frankie, his cats Carlos, Abby, Ally his dog Bentley and Mishka. Henry will be missed for his wit, his conversation and his many opinions on life, politics and the world in general. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held later in the fall
