Obituary of Irena Mrozek

It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Irena Mrozek of St. Catharines on August 4, 2024 in her 99th year. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by family. Irena was born in Dawidgrodek, Poland in 1925. She was the beloved wife of the late Kazimierz Mrozek (2007). Lovingly remembered mother of Joseph (Patricia) Mrozek and Edward Mrozek. Much loved Babcia of Ryan (Christine McBain) of Toronto, Schona (Brian Stasiak) of Calgary, AB, Jordan (Lisa Losier) of Calgary, AB and Lisa (Paul Simon) of Revelstoke, BC. Beloved Great-Grandmother of Jack and Samuel Mrozek, Tyson & Julie Stasiak and Oliver Simon The family would like to thank the staff at Linhaven Long Term Care - Secord Wing for all their care and kindness during her stay there which she called home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held later this year. If desired donations can be made in Irena’s name to the Niagara Health Foundation.
