Lawrence (Lorne) Allen Burtch 

Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the age of 83. Beloved husband to Marlene Watson (predeceased in 2018).  Loving father to Robert (Roselie), Kevin (Joanne) and stepfather to Kristen Dalton. Cherished grandpa to William (Alexandra), Kaitlyn, Sawyer and Lily.  Brother of Shirley (the late Glen Railton) and William (predeceased). 

Lorne worked as the General Superintendent at Domtar Fine Papers for over 25 years.  He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling at the Lost Lake Hunting Camp.  Although he was a quiet man, he was very intelligent and in his own way a very kind and giving man.  We will always remember the family gatherings held at his home.

A private service with family will be held at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 23.  . Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
