Unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in his 79th year. Devoted and beloved husband of Filomena for 56 years. Cherished father of Diana, loving grandfather of Mary, Joanna and Angelica. Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Giuseppina and his sister Victoria. 

Giovanni was a member of St. Alfred Church. Giovanni had a great love for his family both here, United States and overseas, gardening and winemaking.

Family and friends will be received at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Church, 280 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
