Obituary of Owen Griffiths Hall

In loving memory of Owen Griffith Hall who, after a lengthy illness passed away on July 2nd , 2024, at the Niagara Health Hospital. Owen would have celebrated 80 years of age on September 20, 2024.

Owen is survived by his wife Suzanne (nee Michaud) of 58 years. Children, Glenn and Scott (Tammy). Grandchildren , Brad (Suzette), Rachel (Doug), Courtney (Joey), Chelsea [deceased] and Great grandchildren, Angela, and Evelyn and by his sister-in-law Cecile Da Costa (Peter). His sisters Gwen and Gail and nieces and nephews Jamie, Susan, and Stephen, Carol, Shirley and Yvonne, Patty, Chris and Lori.

Owen retired from Dana, Thorold South location where he worked as a welder. After retirement Owen enjoyed working at Marineland Niagara Falls where he was well known for his sense of humor and endless tales that amused people of all ages from all around the globe. When he wasn’t working Owen was traveling all over North America enjoying the sights and the unique fishing adventures each place offered and spending winters in Florida with Suzanne, where he never passed up a good game of Pickleball.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Niagara Health Hospital for their compassionate care as well as the staff at Darte’s Funeral Home for their assistance and understanding at this difficult time.
