Sincere condolences to the family. I never had the opportunity to meet Wallace, but he was brother to my grandfather Merrill Gordon who passed away in January 2020; whom I cherished with all my heart. I pray for the health and success of the family, although we may not all be together, we are united as a clan. Rest in peace Great Uncle Wallace.

Sad to say goodbye to my Uncle Wallace today. Or Uncle Walrus, as I called him as a child. Fondly remembering the times he'd pop by our house in his truck with the camper style cap, filled with blinds stuff. I always loved the holiday get togethers at Bessborough. The different groups gathering in the living room, the kitchen, and the glorious basement. I was always amazed by the cool bar with all the glasses hanging from the ceiling, the wood stove, the random mix of snacks, and mostly the time there were alive fish swimming around in the big tub sink in the back. Heartfelt condolences to Ricky, Patti and their families, as well as the entire Gordon clan. Feeling especially sad for my Father, Rhoney, Aunt Colleen, and Aunt Sally, who have lost 3 siblings in just over a year. My generation of Gordons has been very lucky to have so many great Aunts and Uncles, and so many cousins to carry on traditions. God bless us all, and rest easy Uncle Walrus.

Fondly remembering Uncle Wallace & Aunt Nancy hosting family gatherings on Bessborough during my youth. Glorious feasts from Aunt Nancy and Uncle Wallace stedfast behind the bar of the most fabulous rec room pouring a mere splash of cherry brandy with a whole lot of Coke just to make us cousins feel like we were part of the celebration. How we cherish those memories now. I feel both fortunate and grateful to have been able to spend some time with Uncle Wallace the past couple of years while he visited with Mom and most recently to be able to look through some old photos together in March. May he rest in peace.
Our sincere sympathy, Jennifer, Dean & Sydney

I would love to share some fond memories of Wally. Wally repaired the blinds at Jubilee Place for many years. I lovingly referred to him as our "Blind Man". Wally would always let me know when he was going to be away at the cottage in case I had a blind in need of repair. Sometimes I would help Wally take the blinds down for repair. He gave me a special tool to loosen the blind bracket. This little tool will remain in my office and every time I glance at it, I will remember Wally. He had such a kind voice, great stories and a gentle laughter that was contagious. Last summer I was lucky enough to be given some yellow beans from Wally's garden. They were delicious. Well, this spring Wally brought me a package of yellow bean seeds and told me to plant them with the 'dark spot facing upwards'. I planted these seeds a few weeks ago. How fitting that these plants began to sprout on the weekend!! I will miss Wally greatly.
Lovingly,
Janet Daniel

Sincere sympathies to Rick and Patti, Kyle and Sean along with Daryl and Sandy. I loved Uncle Wally and have so many great memories of our families celebrating together at our Bessbourough and Benson Drive homes. Your dad personified the strong, silent type who let his actions speak for themselves. I had great respect for Uncle Wally and always admired his great love of the outdoors and how he loved spending as much time as possible at his home away from home where he fittingly took his last steps. God works in mysterious ways but He did it right this time by bringing Uncle Wally from his beloved Earth home to his Heavenly home to reunite with Aunt Nancy. God Bless and rest in peace.
