With great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Michael at his apartment in Hamilton on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 39 years of age, We ask for your prayers for the Repose of his Soul. Loving son of Tony and Maria. Dear brother of Nicholas (Alyssa) and Joseph (Sarah). Amazing uncle to Hailey and step uncle to Emma and Abby. Will be lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles; Joe, Pat (Jim), Diana (Matthew), Anna (Craig) and many cousins, friends and coworkers. Michael was a compassionate, giving person always putting other people first. Michael will be remembered as a great conversationalist and his wonderful sense of humour. In his younger years Michael was involved in many sports. Michael had a great love for animals and enjoyed many vacations and cruises with the whole family.
Friends will be received at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St Denis Church, 230 Lake Street, St. Catharines on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
