Obituary of Anna Maria Montemurro
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Anna Maria Montemurro with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, May 21 2024 in her 94th year, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
Beloved wife to Mario for 42 years. An amazing mother to Giulio (Mary). Proud nonna to Gabriel and Isabella.
Anna is survived by her brothers Severino and Lucio (Toronto ON).
She was the ultimate hostess, who welcomed everyone with warmth and hospitality. You always left her home feeling loved and fed.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St on Thursday, May 30th from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Vigil prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass Friday, May 31st at 11am at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St. Entombment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
