Obituary of Sharon Ann Hoffman

Hoffman, Sharon   We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our beloved Sharon. on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at the Niagara Health System, St. Catharines Site.

Sharon, loved sister of Joan and her brothers Gordon, Roy, Douglas and Ralph. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Della, her husband Jim, her sister Shirley and her brothers Donald, James and Gary. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a wonderful woman who lived a full and joyful life.  She passed away peacefully and is now reunited with her love, Jim.   “Blondo” was an exceptional cook, baker, avid crocheter who made beautiful pieces for her family and friends.  She was always willing to lend a hand whenever asked without hesitation.  She was the ultimate hostess, who welcomed everyone with warmth and hospitality.   You always left her home feeling loved and fed.  One of the most treasured memories were her annual trips to Florida with her best friend Lynn (Don).   They loved to soak up the sun, visit local restaurants and sing along with Jim when he took stage creating many funny stories.   We will always be grateful for her friendship and the joy she brought to our lives.  She will be deeply missed

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday, May 15th from 6-8pm. A Final Tribute for Sharon will be held in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home Thursday, May 16 at 11am. Interment Lane Cemetery, St. Anns, ON.  In lieu of flowers, donations made in Sharon's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundations would be appreciated by her family
