Obituary of Dorothy Jean Brown

Dorothy (nee Lee) Brown passed away in her home on May 8, 2024, at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her loving partner Brian Hinks; her children Marty (Ricci) Smith, Rob (Jackie) Smith, and Rebecca (Tim) Niece; her bonus daughter Tracey (John) Creighton; her step children Chad (April) Hinks, Nathan (Marta) Hinks, and Katie (Andrew) Hinks; her beloved grandchildren Lauren (Wil), Jacob (Reaghan), Kyle, Jaxon, Taylor, Nate, Chase, Elliott, Jack Brian, and Frankie; and her beautiful great-granddaughters Everly and Reese. Beloved sister of Darlene Cossaboom, Laurie (Don) Fawcett, Frank Lee, Bernie (Brenda) Lee, Ed Lee and Kristine Lee. Predeceased by her parents Barney and Jean Lee, husband Don Brown, and brother-in-law Lloyd Cossaboom. 

Dorothy will be remembered for her amazing strength and generosity. She found joy in her family and friends, her love of shopping, crossword puzzles, and sweet treats. She will be greatly missed. 

Dorothy has requested no funeral or visitation services. Her family will be holding a celebration of life in her honour on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 12 noon - 4 p.m.at the Canadian Corp, 70 West Street, Port Colborne.
