Obituary of Anna Teresa Edl

Edl, Anna - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Henley House in her 92nd year. Devoted wife of the late Matthew Edl. Cherished mother of Joseph (Cheryl), Ann (Frank) Steglinski, Linda (Ed) VanLeeuwen and Marian (Rudy) Veide. Loving Grandma of Joseph (Angela), Robert (Diana), Sarah (Robert), Lisa, Lori, Ashley (Ed), Mathew (Michelle), Adam (Miranda), Jordan (Robyn), Jason (Marika) and Caitlyn (Sawyer). Special Oma to 16 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many family members and close friends. Anna was an active parishioner of St. Julia Church and also an active member of the German-Canadian Club. Thank you to the staff at Henley House for their care and compassion.

The Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday, April 24th from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Vigil prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 25th at 11am at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave. Interment Lundy's Lane Cemetery. If so desired, donations made in Anna's memory to Rankin Cancer Run or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
