Obituary of Edward Lawrence Hill
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of their dear husband, father and papa, Edward “Ted” Hill with family at his side at Hospice Niagara in his 69th year. Cherished and devoted husband to Danila Hill for 45 years; beloved father to Kristina (Mariusz) Cywinski and Colin (Rebecca) Hill; treasured papa to Claire, Olivia, Charlotte, Julia and Anna; special brother to Ivana (David) Andrus, much loved cousin to Claudia, Chris, Julia and Elaine Jones. Predeceased by Ted is his father, Edwin Hill; in-laws Ettore and Bernardina Costantini. Ted was loved by all who knew him and we wish to thank all of the staff for the exceptional care given from Walker Family Cancer Centre.
In keeping with Ted’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family welcome family and friends for a time of gathering on Saturday, March 9th 2024 from 10:00-11:00am in the funeral home followed by a Celebration of his Life in the ceremony room at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital and/or Hospice Niagara in memory of Ted.
