Obituary of Alex Mayer
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, Alexander James Mayer on Wednesday, February 14th 2024 in his 33rd year with family at his side. Cherished son of parents, Hamilton Wabie and Carole Mayer; brother to Kyle, Dylan, Angela, Brooklyn and Sage; nephew to Louise, Valerie, Florence, Nancy, Myra, Shirley, Estelle, Blair, Bryan and Roland. Alex was a bright and free spirit; he could always be found stomping the pavement of St. Catharines visiting the people he knew. His big and loving family will truly miss him and will forever keep him in their hearts.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of his life will be held at the Native Community Centre in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Saturday February 17th from 12:00 - 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, consider making donations to Niagara Addiction Services and/or to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara Animal Clinic.
