Obituary of Edith Del Carmen Orellana

 

Edith Del Carmen Orellana, (born Edith Del Carmen Mora Alvarez) age 73, a resident of St. Catharines, ON, Canada passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was born September 24, 1950 in Puente Alto, Chile to the late  Francisco and Eduvijes.

 

She enjoyed serving the Lord Jesus with her husband Luis whom she was married to from April 6, 1968. Her family was her life. She will be remembered as a Godly and beautiful woman who touched us all and trusted the Lord in all the ups and downs of life.

 

She is survived by her children Luis Jr. “Chico”, and Marcelo. Her siblings (by age) living in Chile, Canada and Sweden were  the late Guillermo, Miguel, Gloria, Torivio, Raul, Gladys, Erika, Anna, and Neftaly. Very special thanks to her best friend Anna Garda, who was like a sister, for taking care of her day and night at the hospital. She will be missed by her family, church family and friends.

 

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & cremation Centre, 5856 Carlton Street on Thursday, February 15th from 6-8pm

 

Funeral Service for Edith will be held in the Ceremony room of the funeral home on Friday, February 16 at 11:00AM. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
