Obituary of Clifford Booker

Booker, Clifford Arthur:

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 21st, 2024 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Louise (Nee: Gonzalez). Cherished Dad of Bill (Dolly), Marie (Fred) Legault, Cathy Foreman, Bob, Jim (Pam) and the late Ed (Barb). Special Dad to Tracy. Loving Grandpa/Papa of 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is the last original member of the Booker family.

Special thanks for their friendship and help to Howard Clark, Carl MacCulloch, John and Donna Markarian, George Darte, Father Greg Schmidt, Dad's caregivers, staff of the NHS, West Hills Nursing Home, the staff and tenants of Park Place Senior Home and the staff at George Darte Funeral Home.

Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, January 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave,. St. Catharines on Friday, January 26th at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers,donations to St Catharines/Thorold Community Care would be appreciated by the family.
