Obituary of Randy Green

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Randy Green on Thursday, January 11th 2024 in his 71st year. Survived by his loving spouse, Ann Green (nee Pizzingrilli); adored children Lindsay (Eric Sabatini) Green and Corey Green; grandchildren, Laila and Charlie Sabatini; brothers, Howard (Kathy) Green, Ron (the late Mary) Green and Rick Green with many nephews and nieces to miss him. Predeceased by Randy was his sister, Sharon Gleason and parents Roy and Rita Green. Grew up in St. Catharines, Randy was a Western Hill boy, active in many sports such as, rowing, football, softball, hockey and golf. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24, retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. One of his many hobbies was home renovations and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. We wish to express our gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Greater Niagara Hospital and Tabor Manor for their great compassionate care.

 

In keeping with the family’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family welcomes family and friends for a time of visitation on Monday, January 15th 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM. A funeral service to be celebrated on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 beginning at 11:00AM in the funeral home ceremony room with burial to take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
