Obituary of Anna Douglas Adams

Anna Adams.

We are so sorry to announce the passing of our dear friend and aunt Anna on January 8th 2024. Loving wife of Cliff (Deceased 2017) for 60 years. Anna was born in the small village of West Kilbride in Ayrshire Scotland 4th September 1928 and emigrated to Canada along with three young friends at the age of 35. She met Cliff in Winnipeg and married and settled in St Catharines in 1966 in a quaint little house in Port Dalhousie. She worked at General Motors for 25 years before retireing to a very happy life tending to her gorgeous garden in Port, which she and Cliff were so happy tending.  Anna and Cliff had a very  busy social life visiting with their many friends and when they found time, they were off on weekends and vacations in their new trailer. She will be sadly missed by all her friends at Port and also her new found friends at Heather Wood Retirement Residence.

At Anna's request cremation has taken place and a niche-side service will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on January 15th at 11am.  Arrangements entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St Catharines, Ontario L2M 4Y1, (905) 937-4444.
