Obituary of Robert Douglas Halliwell
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Robert “Bobby” Halliwell at the NHS-St. Catharines due to complications from heart surgery on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Predeceased by his mother Diane Halliwell (2008). Survived by Bobby, is his daughter, Tamara Lynn (Johnathon Taylor); cherished grandson, Landyn Taylor; father Douglas (Fern Chevalier) Halliwell; sisters, Lynn (Terry) Stead and Tracey McCready and his three nephews and niece. Bobby will be loved and missed by his long-time companion Tabetha Symonds and his best friend, Al. Bobby lived an adventurous life, one who can’t be tamed. He was always mechanically inclined, loved animals and in his younger days, spending time outdoors camping with family and friends at Bissell’s. In keeping with the family’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family welcome friends and family for a time of gathering on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Memorial beginning at 11:30 AM in the funeral home ceremony room.
