                                                 Andel Dixon A.K.A Barber

                                       September 29, 1969 – December 23, 2023

We lost a gem in our community at the age of 55. Andel was a jovial, energetic, eccentric, and helpful soul. A loving father, grandfather, and friend. He spent his last days at the barber shop, one of his favorite places to be over the years. Andel enjoyed early mornings at the flea market and Amazon bins, where his hobby was spotting a "diamond in the rubble”.

Andel is survived by his sons, Qwayne and Jahvonie. Brothers, sisters, cousins and nephews and other family members.

The funeral will be held at George Darte Funeral Home on February 6, 2024. The viewing will take place at 10 a.m. – noon. The funeral service will commence at 12 p.m.
