Obituary of Donald Michael Adamyk

It is with sadness that we share the passing of our dear brother and uncle, Don Adamyk, at the age of 66. Don passed away peacefully on November 26th, 2023 at Heidehof Home for the Aged in St. Catharines, ON.

He was born on July 31st, 1957 in St. Catharines to John and Julia Adamyk (predeceased). He is also predeceased by his brothers, Ron Adamyk and Carl Adamyk, both of St. Catharines.

He is survived by his sister Pat, brother-in-law Bryan and his sister-in-law Diana. He is also survived by nephews and nieces; Ray (Michelle), Andrew (Alison), Justina, Nicole (Randy), Scott (Sandra), Dan, Jason (Christine), Natalie and Serena and several great-nieces and nephews. Don was a graduate of St. Catharines Collegiate and George Brown College.

The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Heidehof for making a home for Don for the last 7 years. Thanks also to Dr. Galina Arvinte and to Brain Injury Community Re-Entry Niagara for visits and outings.

Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home,585 Carlton Street, on Saturday, December 16th 2023 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to Benevolent Society Heidehof.
