Obituary of Nick Siklis
It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Nikolaos Siklis on Saturday, November 18th 2023 in his 71st year at the NHS-St. Catharines with family at his side. Cherished husband to Ioanna Siklis (nee Stergiou) for 38 years; loving father to, Voula, Constantina; adored Papou to Calista and Selena, proud father-in-law of Antonio; Nick is predeceased by his parents, Anastasios and Despina Siklis and brothers Stephanos, Zizis and Adam. Nick loved supporting and providing for his family. He proudly owned and operated NDS Painting Company for over 40 years. He enjoyed watching soccer, time with his grandchildren and a nice glass of ouzo. In keeping with Nick’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines., 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family welcome friends and family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 from 5:00PM – 8:00PM with the First Thrice Holy Hymn/Trisagio at 7:00PM followed by the funeral service at St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 at 12:30PM. The Final Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio will occur at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and/or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Nick.
