Obituary of Cheryl Ann Laughlin

LAUGHLIN (DeSantis), Cheryl - Passed away with her loving husband by her side on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved wife of John for 45 years. Cherished mother of Ian, Shaun (Angie) and Emily DeSantis (Jocelynn). Loving Grandma of Julia Laughlin and Dominic DeSantis. She is survived by her sister Lynn Lott (John), and her brother Dr. Paul Spencer (Tracy). She loved and will be missed by her beloved Charlie girl. She is predeceased by her sister Cindy. Cheryl loved spending time with her family and friends at Shalamar Lake (Vine Ridge). She was a long time employee at Scotia Bank and a dedicated Financial Advisor for London Life. Cheryl was an avid sports fan and dog lover. She will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit, willingness to help others and her lifelong friendships. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, November 23rd from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Cheryl's Life will take place on Friday, November 24th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Humane Society, Diabetes Canada or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
