Obituary of Kathleen Margaret Combe
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the death of our mother and wonderful grandmother and soon to be great grandmother, Kathleen Combe on Monday, November 13, 2023. Kathleen (nee Misener) is predeceased by the love of her life, Dr. William Combe, beloved Mother of Ron and Mary Jane, Dr. Heather Combe and George Darte, Randy and Dawnya, Brian and Cheryl, and most special Grandma of James (Angela), Steven (Emily), Alicia (Kevin), Emily (Dylan), Michelle (Adam), Ben and Jacob. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Colleen Misener (the Late Donald), nieces and nephews. Kathy was a proud member of the Mack School of Nursing class of 1957, and was a member of Mountainview United Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed social activities with her many friends. Thank you to the many PSWs who cared for her at home, and to the very caring staff of Pioneer Elder Care.
Kathleen’s family will welcome her friends to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday November 17th from 4-6pm. An honouring ceremony will be held at George Darte Funeral Chapel on Saturday November 18th at 10am. A private family burial will be held at a later time. If you wish, a donation to Diabetes Canada or The Alzheimer Society can be made in Kathleen's memory.
